Build An FM transmitter Circuit Its Working and Applications

The FM transmitter is a single transistor circuit. In the telecommunication, the frequency modulation transfers the information by varying the frequency of the carrier wave according to the message signal. Generally, the FM transmitter uses VHF radio frequencie of 88.00MHz to 108.00MHz to transmitter & receiver the FM signal. This transmitter accomplishes the most excellent range with less power. The performance and working of the wireless audio transmitter circuit depend on the induction coil & variable capacitor. This article will explain the working of the FM transmitter circuit with its applications.

Fm transmitter block diagram

The following image shows the block diagram of the FM transmitter and the required components of the FM transmitter are; microphone, audio pre-amplifier, modulator, oscillator, RF- amplifier, and antenna. There are two frequencies in the FM signal, the first one is the carrier frequency and the other one is audio frequency. The audio frequency is used to modulate the carrier frequency. The FM signal is obtained by differing the carrier frequency by allowing the AF. The FM transistor consists of the oscillator to produce the RF signal.

Power supply :- Using power supply stable DC voltage 2 V to 3.7 V max. You can only use battery because battery is perfect for this circuit battery output doesn't any noise.

Components :- Transistor BC 547, Resistance 100 ohm4.7 K ohm. Capacitor 1nF, 47pF, 22pF. Inductor 1uH. Condenser mic any.

Resistance :- Using resistance 100 ohm +-5% changing 1/3 watt, 4.7 K ohm +-5% changing 1/3 watt.

Capacitor :- 1nF this capacitor number 102 non-polar, 22pF this capacitor number 22 non-polar, 47pF this capacitor number 47 non-polar.

Transistor :- BC 547 is an NPN Bipolar junction transistor. It is commonly used to amplify current. A small current at its base controls a larger current at collector & emitter terminals. It has a transition frequency range up to 100 MHz. When using the transistor as a switch, the max current rating poses a limit on the type of loads that it can drive.
Working :- The FM transmitter is a circuit that uses a very low power to operate and does uses (Frequency Modulation) FM Waves to transmit the sound. With the help of such FM transmitters we can easily transmit the audio signals through the carrier waves with different frequencies. First condenser microphone enter voice signal than go to amplification or filter than go to transistor base and transistor switch to activate VCC come out to inductor than generate frequency inductor noise filter 22pF capacitor vcc go through transistor collector to emitter through 100 ohms resistance and transistor collector noise clear through 47pF.

FM frequency :- Frequency modulation is the encoding of information in a carrier wave by varying the instantaneous frequency of the wave. The term and technology is used in both.
